The grapes were aged in oak to impart vanilla aromas along with hints of baking spice. At blending, Petite Syrah was added to give a rich ruby colour, and a firm backbone of tannins. Aromas of cocoa and vanilla are enhanced by the rich flavours of currant and dark ripe fruits.
