With our satisfaction guarantee, we need to be sure that all wines we select for our list are good. If the thought, "Should it be on the list?" even crosses our minds, it will not be included Next, our Sommelier rates them according to their drinkability, body and approach. We will not select wines with only 1 or 2 stars. The ratings are defined as follows:
Light, friendly, uncomplicated wines, but with enough kick to be interesting.
Richer, more concentrated wines, without being too complex.
Deeper, stronger wines, with bigger tannins (for reds) or refined flavours (for whites).
: 5-Stars wines will have more flavour intensity and/or complexity. Some may be ready to drink now, but many can age for a few more years.

Details

The Piemonte in North-West Italy is - along with Tuscany – one of the most revered regions in Italy. It is home to the famous Barolo & Barbaresco wines, made from Nebbiolo grape in their respective villages. Situated at the base of the Alpine chain that contains the highest peaks in Europe, its splendid hilly territories offer the happy combination of terrains perfectly suited to the cultivation of vines with a climate that is ideal for their maturation. Founded in the late 1950’s, the Tementini Ca’Bianca lies among the gentle slopes of the upper Monferrato in the village of Alice bel Colle near the town of Acqui Terme. Here, Pier Luigi Borgna crafts high-quality wines from the 39 hectares of vineyards surrounding the estate, planted only with traditional varietals like Barbera, Nebbiolo, Arneis, or Gavi.

Moscato (Muscat in French) is a very versatile grape, being able to offer wines going from light fresh whites, to rich luscious sweet wines while passing with soft, slightly fizzy juicy wines like this one. The fermentation happens in a closed pressure tank, allowing some gas to remain in the wines, creating fine bubbles. This wine offers a fine mousse that has a delicate and intense bouquet, with touches of acacia, sage and hints of citrus fruits (orange in particular). Its sweet, clean flavour is enlivened by an attractive citric note and has a pleasant aftertaste of fruit and honey hill.

Conclusion: A very addictive sweetish white, to enjoy fresh with friends for a nice late afternoon drink!

Tried it once and it was brilliant. Fruity & sweet, probably will turn anyone's opinion about wine 180 degrees if he/she doesn't like wine. A great choice for the ladies & wine beginners or maybe just a "sweet" occasion that worth celebrating. (Posted on 27/03/2017)
Excellent Taste Of A Wine
Review by MATTHEW
Well, tested few times. The 2014 much lesser sweet compared to the 2015 but I still love the fruity sweetness from it and suitable for ladies too! Strongly recommended! (Posted on 07/02/2017)
