With our satisfaction guarantee, we need to be sure that all wines we select for our list are good. If the thought, "Should it be on the list?" even crosses our minds, it will not be included Next, our Sommelier rates them according to their drinkability, body and approach. We will not select wines with only 1 or 2 stars. The ratings are defined as follows:
Light, friendly, uncomplicated wines, but with enough kick to be interesting.
Richer, more concentrated wines, without being too complex.
Deeper, stronger wines, with bigger tannins (for reds) or refined flavours (for whites).
: 5-Stars wines will have more flavour intensity and/or complexity. Some may be ready to drink now, but many can age for a few more years.

Chateau Nine Peak was started Dr Karl Hauptmann, a European philanthropist, savvy investor – and wine lover. After launching wineries in Germany, Bulgaria and Romania, he decided to go East. Through careful research of soil at over 50 different sites in China, Karl and French oenologist Marc Dworkin finally found a home for their prestigious winery at Nine Peak Mountain in 2008, ideally situated at the foothills of the Nine Peak Mountains in the Shandong Province. The land was chosen for its exceptional Terroir – a perfect combination of soil, climate and vine varieties similar to the France’s Bordeaux Region.

Aged in oak barrels for over 12 months, their Cabernet Sauvignon is well balanced attack with a lot of fruitiness.Full ripe body with volume in the middle of the palate and a soft tannic structure. Very long and soft finish with notes of ripe blackberry and dark chocolate.
